The A8-1 is a Statesville Process Instruments temperature controller in a 48 x 48 mm (1/16 DIN) panel-mount case. It accepts multiple input types, drives a solid state relay output, and includes an alarm relay.
- Multi-range input — thermocouple (K, E, J, S, B, N, R, T, W3-25, W5-26) and RTD (PT100Ω, Cu50Ω)
- SSR output, 3–32 VDC, fixed
- Alarm relay, preset at 50° high, normally open

- Ships configured for Type K thermocouple in °F
Setpoint adjustment and Auto Tune are available from the front panel with no authority level change. Sensor type, alarm settings and °C/°F selection are made at the second authority level — see the Quick Start Guide below.
